Potent Immune Modulators

Potent Immune Modulators

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (Immunosuppressant) and regulatory T cells (Tregs) are both potent immune modulators.

The aberrant proliferation and function of TREGS plays an important role in the development of asthma. our previous studies have demonstrated the role of MSCs in promoting proliferation and immune modulating of TREGS, as well as alleviating airway inflammation.

What is the function of regulatory T cells?

Helper t cells have what is probably the most important role of lymphocytes in the immune system. They activate other immune cells, including killer t cells and b cells. The main role of killer t cells is to destroy cells that have been infected by viruses. They may also attack cancer cells and cells that have been infected by bacteria.
